Thelma has been actively involved with village life since she moved here many years ago. She has researched local history and is an enthusiast memberof the local history society as well as spending many hours raising funds to maintain the historic Colmworth Church. She popped in this morning to advertise a trip, later this month, to the mysterious Royston Cave. One theory is that the cave was used by the Knights Templar, another that it was an Augustinian store house and yet a further that it was a Neolithic flint mine. It’s a mystery open for further discussion, speculation and research. I won’t be going as I am increasingly claustrophobic. Pity.
