We have been without broadband and landline telephone since Monday morning. A BT engineer arrived this afternoon, courteous and on time, and found that the line (which is an old fashioned overhead cable attached to a pole) had been broken by branches rubbing against the wire. He has removed the cable and will return tomorrow with a cherry picker so that he can cut off the offending tree limbs and reattach a new line.
