I am surrounded by plants, outside where they belong. However two orchids were brought to The Gables by visitors who ignored the rules. They refuse to die and although often neglected they continue to flower after a year or two of occupancy in the lounge. They look beautiful when photographed from the outside looking in.

Outdoors the daffs are beginning to push up reminding me that spring is not too far away. And as for the “outdoor cats”they seem to spend more time by the fire than we do!
