I just went out to to see the hens and collect the eggs. None of them were out in the Orchard, they were all sun and straw bathing inside the polytunnel. The sunlight coming through the polythene gave them lots of light and warmth and they were lying in the straw and enjoying every moment. And they had laid two beautiful, brown eggs.
