I thought it was a joke but Jeremy has grown mangolds and wants me to eat them! I thought that they were only for the cows but tonight I am roasting them with onions, garlic and chilli and will “give them a go”. The cows are not best pleased but they were happy to munch the mangel-wurzel leaves.
