Carmen arrived.  As chance would have it ‘‘twas Carmen who gave us the  Chrysanth cuttings in the summer and a couple of months in the polytunnel ( and moving to larger pots) has brought them on and now they are flowering and ready to live outdoors.  Three pots in the front garden and two at the back of the house.  We sent Our visitor home with cuttings of kale to cook for supper.  Exchange is no robbery.
