Although the dill plants are still thriving outdoors they will die off when the frosts arrive.  I cut some stems with heads and leaves and left them hanging upside down to dry in a well aerated net bag.

I have stripped some of the foliage and stored the crumbled leaves in a jar.  Later I will collect the seeds and put them away for flavouring pickles and stews.
