A friend and talented artist who recently stayed at The Gables collected some goose feathers when she was here.  She took them home, turned them into ink quills and drew with them.  She sent us an ink drawing of a feather…… using one of the goose feathers.  It sits on our mantelpiece and we enjoy it every day.
