With a lunch at mums flat today with nearly all the family except for granddaughter Rosa who has just landed at Jeddah airport for refuelling en route to Adis Ababa.  More on that later in the week.

Mum’s flat is replete with bouquets of flowers, plants, chocolates and more cards than most people half her age receive.
