One frustrated user of hotmail wrote “I didn’t realise that the end of the world would be like this”.  We are all so dependent on email now …..maybe it is time to go back to pigeon post or take a leaf out of Game of Thrones and use ravens.  We have plenty of ravens and crows at The Gables.  That might keep them gainfully employed and stop them stealing eggs from the geese.  And, just because I have time on my hands without hotmail, I am inserting two photos of the barn owl who used to live at The Gables in the ash tree by the gate until we started work on restoring the barn.  I really miss the owl.  Please return.
