It’s the “flying show”.

Grandson always helps me to feed the animals in the morning and that starts with biscuits and food for the cats followed by opening the chicken houses and giving them corn, checking their food and water and also opening up the “noisy” duck house.  Grandson calls this the “flying show” and he positions himself just next to the duck pond and when he is ready I lift up the hatch and out fly 19 noisy call ducks, flapping their wings, flying into the air and landing on the pond.  They dip and duck into the water and occasionally flap their wings.  When they have had enough they come out onto the bank and stretch their wings and waddle around, pushing their beaks into muddy puddles looking for worms and snails.
