The courgettes are green, glossy, delicious and plentiful.

The pumpkins and butternut squashes are growing and will be ready later in the summer and early autumn with large orange pumpkins kept for granddaughter to carve for Halloween. I heard a radio item some time ago about the amazing Trombocino squash plant and Jeremy sourced some expensive seeds and planted them. We are not disappointed, the plants have grown and grown and are now producing trombone shaped squash with beautiful flowers. I haven’t cooked them yet but will use them like courgettes, unless anyone has any suggestions?
