Grandson’s carrots have been a great success and Jeremy pulls a few each week to take to grandson in London so that he can enjoy their sweet crunchy, carrot taste – washed but no need to peel. When Jeremy was sowing tomato seeds and then potting up plants he found that he had too many to plant out at The Gables. Some were given to Cheryl to sell at the “village open garden day” a few weeks ago and the others were taken to London for granddaughter and her parents to plant in their suburban back garden. She has watered them every day.
