Our guests spotted wasps buzzing around the gable end of the “hovels” ie the old hovels that have been turned into bedrooms for our visitors.  They seemed to be flying into and out of a hole in between the bricks and the general consensus was that the pest controllers should be called and the wasps eliminated.  Jeremy’s was the lone voice speaking up for the wasps.  “If they are not bothering us then why should we kill them?”  While he was out this morning I called the pest controllers and Jason arrived at lunch time as the sun was shining and the wasps were buzzing.  Except that the wasps are Bumble Bees and they are doing no harm. So Jason looked at Jeremy and Jeremy looked at me and they both said “if wasps and bees aren’t bothering you then leave them alone”.  I hold my hands up!
