I was weeding between the blackcurrant bushes when suddenly a bird flew up just in front of me.  She had been sitting on a nest on the ground just under one of the currant bushes. Mrs Partridge is a ground nesting bird and I was as surprised as she to find her and her nest just where I was walking.  I do hope she returns to sit on her eggs.
