Opening up the poultry houses, filling up drinkers and feeders, feeding the cats and checking on the cows, ewes and geese is a great pleasure and the best way for me to wake up.  The icing on the cake is going to the paddock to visit the lambs and finding Sweetie Pie and Poppet and Tiny Tim standing at the gate, noses poking through and waiting for cuddles and scratches behind their ears.
