Strange aircraft over Colmworth

Outside, just now, I looked up into the sky and saw what looked like a spaceship hanging over The Gables.  Using the long lens camera I read the wording, Airlander on the side of the craft.  It looked like the ill fated Zeppelin and it also looked incongruous flying over fields of cows and sheep.  I came back indoors and my friend called to ask if I had seen the flying Airlander.  She explained that it is housed and takes off and lands at the Cardington Hangars, just a few miles from here (see below for a description).  It can fly overhead but I will not be flying in it……ever!

April 4, 2017: Airlander 10, the world’s largest and longest aircraft, which from some angles has been compared to a certain part of the human anatomy, has been outfitted with two giant and undignified airbags. The airbags are placed either side of the cockpit, preventing it (and any human occupants) from being crushed during heavy landings. The airbags are manually deployed by the pilot and are 3 metres long when fully engorged.
