It’s all change at The Gables.  Minimal rain means that the water level in the new pond has fallen drastically so we have moved twelve ducks to their summer home near the side of the house.  The other two ducks are sitting on their nests and cannot be moved from their Winter Palaces.

Yesterday Jeremy set up a run for Silkie and her two chicks, although they need to grow bigger before they can be moved. Meanwhile Mabel, the inquisitive cat,  is exploring the new structure.
