We just got back with a boot full of plants and herbs which we purchased at the Bletsoe plant sale.  The proceeds go towards the upkeep and repair of St Mary’s Church which is a large edifice on the edge of quite a small village.  The drive took us past The Plough at Bolnhurst and the many thatched houses at Thurleigh.  The sun shone and the spring green of the fields and the trees was a joy to behold.  Now it’s time to feed Tiny Tim and plant out our purchases.
