The cows calved, the sheep lambed and now its the turn of the ducks, chicks and geese to bring new life to The Gables.  One of the call ducks is sitting on a clutch of eggs.  The Silkie hen is nestling on one of her eggs and a few Bantam eggs (placed there by Jeremy) and one of the geese seems to be settling in the floating duck/goose house on the pond.  Fingers crossed – we have to wait for a few weeks and hope they all keep incubating their eggs.
