Little Miss Pretty has been limping for some days and we managed to get her into the barn to find out what was troubling this special sheep.  Little Miss Pretty is the most attentive of mothers – some of you will remember that last year she gave birth to twins which included Tiny Lamb.  We never expected Tiny Lamb to survive but she did due to exemplary maternal care.  This year Little Miss Pretty has a single, good sized lamb and mother and lamb are almost joined at the hip.

Farmer Rob came to see Miss Pretty, foot paring knife in one hand and antibiotic spray in the other.  It seems that she had an abscess that needed draining and in a few days she should be right as rain.  Good old girl.
