Poppet (the lamb with the pink nose) is now drinking nearly as much as her twin sister Sweetie Pie.  Soon we will get them to feed from bucket with teats but for the moment we are enjoying bottle feeding the lambs.

The hens and cockerels are happy to be allowed out into the orchard where they can peck around for grubs as well as nibble the corn that we scatter for them every morning.

In the poly tunnel the early potatoes are shooting up and I can begin to imagine the first plateful of new spuds with butter and herbs.  But……here I am counting my chickens, or potatoes.
