Cieste’s other lamb (not Sweetie Pie who is back in our kitchen for one day only before I try and get her outside and feeding from a bucket with teats) is learning to drink from a bottle.  Mother Cieste is still in poor condition with hardly any milk to feed her lamb.  I go out and put the lamb on my lap and make it drink lamb formula twice a day.  This morning I gave her 150 ml as I sat on the straw in the barn and mother came up and “eyeballed” me but didn’t use her powerful horns to butt me.

I went off to feed the other animals and came back a little later to give lamb some more of her bottle.  This time I put her in the manger where I was out of danger from the horns of Cieste.
