When two lambs are feeding the third has to wait.  The triplets are small but perfect and if they manage to get through the next few days they should be fine.

Mum is staying at The Gables this week and from her bedroom window she has a perfect view of all the sheep and lambs.  She is enjoying sitting by the woodburner and absorbed in reading a book that I ordered from the library, The German Girl, about the ill fated ship the St Louis that was bound for Havana in 1939 with a cargo of Jewish refugees.  Most of the passengers were refused entry to Cuba and sent back to Europe where half of them died at the hands of the Nazis.  We look on today as overcrowded boats with desperate refugees set sail on seas which will drown them or arrive at ports that do not want them.Plus ca change.
