Another evening chasing ducks into and out of the pond and trying to corner them in muddy puddles.  One drake eluded us but it seemed that he wanted to join his mates in the duck houses.  So down to the goose pond strode Jeremy and collected the long handled net.  Drake was eventually caught and put away for the night.  We have ordered some chicken netting which we will put around the duck pond and they won’t then be able to escape into the garden or field (unless they fly, of course).  So when that arrives and is attached we might have less of a ridiculous game of catch every night.  Here’s hoping.
