When I was in the poly tunnel this afternoon I found a spring selection of bulbs that Jeremy had left for me.  They were not, apparently, flowering yesterday but the sun this morning had warmed the plants and they are now open and sitting on the kitchen table.  Next to them is a kilner jar full of my first attempt at making preserved lemons.  I will have to wait four weeks before they are ready to use.
