The guests have gone, the sun is shining but in the duck house it is far from peaceful. This morning I found BD (baby duck) bloodied again with red streaks all over his white feathers.  I picked him up and moved him to the old Silkie house where I placed a bowl of water for swimming, a container of water for drinking and some food.  But still he is calling out to his tormentors and would rather be with them and battered than on his own and safe.
