The matriarch of the family who looked after Wiggle when he was tiny, popped in this afternoon. It was a lovely surprise. She borrowed a pair of wellies and went out to the field to meet Lexy and Bella. Then, of course, she wanted to see Wiggle. When he was tiny she and her husband and children looked after the lamb and bottle fed him in their house when we had to go away for a few days. Wiggle came running over for a cuddle the moment he saw her and I am sure that he remembers his early days with their family. Afterwards we went inside for a “cuppa” and a slice of apple cake. The cake was pronounced “delicious”.
