Mum looks happy to be back home

even though she had a good time at The Gables and wants to visit again soon.  In fact she sleeps better in the peace and quiet of the countryside than in her centrally heated flat and she enjoys watching the antics of the animals from her bedroom windows upstairs.

When I opened the front door at The Gables I found a guilty looking Mabel.  She must have snuck into the house as we were packing up the car to drive to London.  It is a game that both cats play all day long.  Who can sneak in through the back or front door when no one is looking?  Mack won yesterday and I had to chase him upstairs before catching him, cuddling him and putting him  back outside.

  1. Well what do you expect? It’s WARM indoors and it’s COLD in that freezing barn, you cruel owners. We’ve a good mind to chase you right out and settle down by the fire, let you spend the night outside, then you’ll know how we feel. Love you really, though! Mack and Mabel.

  2. All of us ‘Mums’ are happy to be back home. Lovely to visit, to come and then to go. We look forward with anticipation to the next time .. she looks well. So does the cat. Perhaps even I will reach the Gables one day! It is very tempting ….. from a very blustery, wet and wintry Israel – love j
