I called in to see my brother and sister in law in London and heard all about my amazing niece Lucy and her work in the slums of Mumbai (more on that later or tomorrow).

Then I collected mum and we hotfooted it back up the A1 to arrive at The Gables to see the calves before the sun set.  Mum was welcomed by Mack and Mabel (who spend all day trying to sneak into the house and sit by the fire).  They were allowed a quick cuddle before being “put” outside where they belong!
