Myrtle berries drying in the airing cupboard

At last a friend came up with a couple of suggestions for the myrtle berries.  One is to dry and then crush them to use as a pepper type of seasoning.  The other is for a Sardinian liqueur called Mirto made with the berries. This involves a bottle of vodka and, as I neither like vodka neat or flavoured, I think I will give this a miss. Any other ideas gratefully received.
