My nephew Saul, son of The Fabulous Micky C, is a music producer and songwriter who received a first from Leeds College of Music last year.  His music is very different to that of his father and instead of playing old fashioned instruments Saul produces and composes on computers. He arrived at The Gables yesterday for some country air and inspiration. Quizzing him over dinner, Jeremy and I discovered that we have very little knowledge about the modern music scene but we are willing to learn.  So, let’s hope, that if Saul becomes a big name in the world of Progressive House and Techno (and their many sub genres) that The Gables will be mentioned as inspiring some of his tracks.
