While we were entertaining 20 guests at The Gables on Friday night my friend and Tai Chi buddy (see photo below from the chilly barn this morning before we began our “warm up” exercises) was trying to locate the Salvation Army Band.  They were due to play music whilst the Colmworth kids sang carols as the Christmas lights were switched on.  Sadly the  Band had gotten their dates in a muddle so it was a “no show” from them but a local fellow downloaded carols from Youtube and played them through a speaker and the evening was saved.  Hooray!
