Foxes, Fifth Avenue and Family

Just returned from 25 hours in London where, as we walked out of the door this morning we came eyeball to eyeball with a young fox.  The fox was in fine form, the sun was shining and said fox was waiting to see who would blink first.  After a few seconds of looking at us he turned and showed us his bushy tail before sauntering away in the direction of the park.  Amazing how bold city foxes are and yet, in the countryside (thank goodness) I have yet to see a fox and hope they keep away from our ducks, geese and chickens.  Sadly no photo of the fox but instead a smiling picture of mum, who I saw yesterday on my way into town and who came third in another charity bridge match a week ago.  Good for mum.  Use it or lose it comes to mind.

Daughter has been working at the UN in New York for the past three days and I insisted that she obtain photographs of the protests outside Trump Towers which has, apparently, reduced Fifth Avenue to two lanes only and is causing chaos in the city.  Looking forward to hearing her take on the mood in the Big Apple.  Grandson is looking forward, as usual, to any presents his mum might bring home.
