Mum and I often swop books that we have ordered from our respective libraries. She has brought me the latest Jonathan Safran Foer book and I have given her “A Little Life” that I picked up last week at St Neots Library. It was on the Man Booker shortlist last year and I read the 700 pages in two days (bliss for Jeremy as I barely lifted my head from the tome). Mum is similarly absorbed although we will venture out this afternoon and admire the autumn trees as they turn golden.
