Lucy and Beattie are “into” mutual grooming.  This morning Beattie was licking Lucy’s neck and then Lucy returned the favour and licked Beattie’s face.  They are great friends but just occasionally they have a “tiff” and keep their distance.  But their differences never last for long.  The only tricky time was when Adnams, the bull, came to stay for two months and favoured Lucy.  Then I felt sorry for Beattie – even though it was Beattie who stood on my foot last year and broke my little toe!
