In my place in the Bedfordshire countryside I have been reading a book that I ordered from the library called “a place in my country” by Ian Walthew.  Highly recommended and perfect for reading on a summers day in rural England. In between reading, sleeping and meals I have played with the cats, talked to the ducklings and walked around the field, feeding Wiggle and Tufty, the ewes and Lucy and Beattie with handfuls of concentrates.  A lazy day allowing our bodies to recover from digging, weeding and cooking. What a treat.
