The Silkies seem to have doubled in size in the past week. How many are hens and how many cockerels? We can’t tell yet but hope that hens will outnumber cocks.
The ducklings are just over a week old and they are getting bolder and bigger. Soon we will put them into the covered Ark where they will be able to be in the fresh air by day but still under protective wire, safe from crows and other predators.

Arhh Sweet we have a baby too now a Pheasent chick that Rich saved sitting by its dead mum on the road so we have put her under Aprils mummy who is broody again so fingers crossed 🙂 See you soon x
