Salty pickles(take note my American friends)

Cucumbers, cucumbers, cucumbers.  I watched a couple of youtube videos on pickling cucumbers……quickly (I am a very impatient cook).  The Italian mama who suggested the recipe that I followed promised pickles in two days.  An american woman also said three or four days fermentation and “hey presto – crunchy pickles”.  We shall see.
