So that’s a partial relief from the post mortem debates. It’s one of those days at The Gables. The builders arrived before 8 am with drills at the ready. Then at 9 am Neil arrived to empty the treatment plant (aka the septic tank). He had just returned from a holiday in the Isle of Man where he had been watching the TT races. I asked him how many had died this year and he thought 5 racers had left this world. He has seven bikes at home but doesn’t race them……he says its an addiction.

Later we are expecting Phil to cut the grass and Tesco are delivering food for grandson’s party on Sunday and, finally, at 4 pm Rob is coming to collect the eight ram lambs. Not a quiet day but at least the sun is shining.
