Under the duck house one patient call duck sits on the nest she built beneath the wooden structure.  I hope her patience will be rewarded.

Mrs Silkie has also gone broody and is sitting on a number of eggs in the nest box.  We have moved the cockerel to live with the other hens whilst we see if she will really sit.

Inside the polytunnel small tomatoes are forming on the plants and the cabbages are becoming “outsize” brassicas.

We need some sustained sunshine to dry out the strawberry patch and ripen the fruit.
