Grandson and I were given tickets for the Hay shuttle bus and complimentary tickets  for Hay Castle.

I was pleased to get out of the Festival complex but the town was full of tourists and festival goers so, after a tour of the old castle and house, we jumped on a bus and returned to the marquees.  Grandson painted some pictures in the children’s Make and Take area and then we met Rosa back in the very civilised Green Room for a cold drink before heading home.
