An early start to the day and I have been tying baler twine onto the paddock fencing in a random pattern. Reason? Well last week Jeremy got up and found Iggle in the front garden. No harm done to plants or sheep but better safe than sorry. Jacob sheep are prodigious jumpers and many years ago, in Devon, our rather rough and ready Jacobs used to regularly jump over the hedge dividing our field from that of Farmer Isaacs. He kept white sheep, ours were spotted. One day our ram jumped into his field. Five months later some spotted lambs were born in his flock!
