They have gone to a good home in Lincolnshire where Hannah, who is a renowned expert on and teacher of permaculture, runs a small farm. She took one of the shearling fleeces as her daughter is a keen felter and they will also spin the wool. The last five fleeces will be collected tomorrow and Tuesday and we will lose the delicious smell of wool and lanolin which rubs off on our hands whenever we touch the rolled up bundles.
