Before the sheep were shorn Jeremy put a message on the “Preloved” website offering free fleeces to weavers and spinners. Elaine, who uses wool to weave and spin for her artwork, has arrived today to collect four fleeces.  Two are for her and two for other members of her guild.  Later I will take two more fleeces to London where the husband of another spinner will collect them from daughters house whilst I babysit for the grandson.  Elaine brought samples of Masham wool and alpaca wool and Leicester longhorn wool that she has spun and dyed.
