My lovely hairdresser and friend, Roisin, wished me a Happy St Patricks day when I went to see her this morning.  Her previous client had brought in some shamrocks from Ireland and she told me that the three leaves symbolise The Father, Son and Holy Ghost.  What with Simnel Cake yesterday and shamrocks today I am getting quite an education in Christian Symbols and customs.
