Wooden trestle tables for the barn were due to arrive next week but at 8 am a pallet of tables was unloaded into the yard and required shifting into the barn.  Next Vic the builder arrived to make good the new doors that were installed this week around the courtyard to replace the ones that wouldn’t lock. Then the window cleaning team turned up for the monthly wash of the outside glass. We can see the views again, thank you. As they finished  I heard a shout from the back door and my friend turned up for a coffee and catch up which we try to do most weeks.  Whilst Kate was here the phone rang twice and I promised both callers that I would return to them later.  Hey ho…..but tomorrow might be quiet!
