According to the RSPB website the Stock Dove has been in decline in the UK but it is not in serious danger…..yet.  Our pair give me great pleasure as I stand at the kitchen sink and look out of the window to see the female going in and out of the bird box and her mate standing guard on the gable above.  We have plenty of other bird boxes and one is big enough for doves or even owls.  All welcome.
