High up in a tree by the woodshed, this morning, sat a bird singing its heart out with such a varied and beautiful song.  I photographed it with my iPhone and after I had fed all the animals I went back with the zoom lens camera and photographed it again.  The images were much clearer and the pictures plus the song and the trusty RSPB bird identifier site let me know that this is a song thrush.  Let’s hope it has a mate and that we have a nest and nestlings here to replenish their dwindling numbers.
