Jeremy went out to feed the animals this morning and found that the calves had lifted the top rail off the fence and jumped over the lower bars ……to get to their mothers, Lucy and Beattie.  Their intentions (we think) were not exactly filial as their mothers may well be in season and the bull calves may well think more of themselves than we do!  Now we shall have to work out how to stop this happening again.
